life can change at any minute.

Kaitlin Mackay, a 20 year old bubbly, outgoing, fun student of Cal Poly was on a run and crossed at a crosswalk at a green light on Foothill Blvd. A driver ran the red light at Tassajara and hit Kaitlin. And in that brief instant Kaitlin's life was changed. She is currently in an induced coma in critical condition at the hospital. We don't have any more information, but that news is heartbreaking. It really makes you think. I've had a knot in my stomach all day and a lump in my throat. I can't believe that someone so young and healthy can be taken down so easily. One person's horrible mistake has almost ended someone's life. We are all awaiting an update on Kaitlin's condition, and are keeping her in our thoughts.
