Happy Summer.

It's officially summertime.

I was done with finals last Wednesday, but between the packing and the moving and the errands, then the driving and unpacking, I didn't really feel "summer" until Sunday when I got to lay out in the sun on my back porch with a book and some iced tea. It was ultimate summer.

My room is now MY room, I have completely moved into it, and it is home. Pictures on the wall, bookshelf full of books, all my clothes hung and all my shoes displayed.

I haven't even gone out anywhere since I've been home, I am having too good of a time relaxing and taking it easy. Maybe it'll be time soon to start seeing Santa Rosian friends, but since living in Sebastopol, it takes so much for effort to get all the way to Santa Rosa... I'll have to start sucking it up and going soon, but for now, I am just fine laying in bed and watching TV and movies and reading.

And today, I got my grades from Spring Quarter, 3 A- and 1 B+!
That's a 3.57 GPA = DEAN'S LIST!!!
And puts my cumulative over a 3.0!

I actually love life right now.
Tomorrow I'm going to run errands and have a doctors appointment, get stuff done and then relax.

Thursday morning I start my internship-- but not till 11 AM, so it's not even like I have to get up early, and I'm SUPER excited to start working.

Thursday night Zack comes to visit for the weekend!! It's going to be an awesome next couple days. It's going to be an awesome summer!!

The past few weeks....

It's almost finals week... and I'm procrastinating.
It's been awhile since I've updated, so I figured now is as good a time as any.

1. I went to Colorado for Carly's High School Graduation and Estell's Middle School Promotion. It was nice to see my family, it had been too long.

2. Then Zack and I went to Sebastopol for my mom's birthday weekend (& Memorial Day weekend). It was amazing and relaxing, weekends at home with the boyfriend are the best.

3. I got a marketing internship for the 2010-11 school year with the Cal Poly Men's Soccer Team!! That's one of the best things that has happened recently.

4. We just had our first PRSSA executive board meeting this evening and I am super excited for what is happening next year in regards to PRSSA. (Plus, it was my first time to go to Natural Cafe in SLO, and it was delicious! A nice discovery that I will have to remember in my senior year.)

5. I get to move home in less than a week, and in a little more than a week I start my internship with JKaplan Communications! I can't wait to get out in the real world and apply what I have learned in all these silly PR classes that do not seem like they are teaching much, but I am sure will be extremely beneficial out in the work world.

6. When I'm done with finals on Wednesday I will be a SENIOR in COLLEGE. That is CRAZY. But am I freaking out? Not yet... But I'm sure it will come. For now, I'm reveling in the fact that I am growing up, and it's a lot of fun :)
